Senior Spotlight: Chloe Tantala

Chloe Tantala is an athletic and musically motivated senior. She is involved in Varsity Tennis, playing second singles this last season. Chloe is involved in theatre, choir, and a Library volunteer for Dimmick and Penn Kidder Campus.

She has been in multiple school plays including Hurry Up & Wait, A Christmas Carol, Addams Family, and has been casted in the 2025 spring play, Peter and the Starcatcher. 

 

What are some of your biggest accomplishments in high school?

Some of my biggest accomplishments in high school were getting into National Honor Society my junior year, and making it to tennis district quarterfinals my senior year.


What’s your favorite memory from high school?

The D.C. Trip my sophomore year was one of the most memorable experiences of my high school career.


Who has been your biggest inspiration or mentor?

The best mentor I’ve had throughout high school would have to be my case manager, Mrs. O’Donnell.


What are your plans after graduation?

I’m not sure where I am going to college yet, but I am hoping to go to Lehigh for psychology and journalism.


Your motto?

Never fail to be yourself. 


If you could relive any moment from high school, what would it be?

If I could relive any moment from high school, I think I would want to go back to my district doubles match.


What’s your go-to hype song or favorite artist?

My absolute favorite artist right now has got to be Alvvays.


What will you miss the most about high school? 

I will miss my tennis team.


Favorite theatre moment? 

My favorite theatre moment would have to be getting to drop it low as Grandma Addams on closing night.


Favorite tennis moment?

Any karaoke-filled van ride with the team could qualify as my favorite tennis moment.


What extracurricular activity impacted you the most and why?

I feel like joining tennis really helped me to come out of my shell and find a solid group of friends in the beginning of my freshman year.


If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

I would love to live in Ireland because the landscape is just breathtaking.


What’s your go-to comfort food?

Wawa Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap


What’s one thing on your bucket list?

I want to try parasailing.


What’s a tradition or event at JTAHS that you’ll miss the most?

The Volleyball tournament


How was your experience as a Tennis Co-Captain? 

It was a really positive experience! It was very empowering to be a leader to such lovely teammates.


What motivates you to achieve your goals?

I’m motivated by the opportunity to use my success to help others.
